Montana Arts Council
MONTANA...THE LAND OF CREATIVITY
Creativity -- the source of inspiration that gives meaning to our lives through words, music, art and design.
The Montana Arts Council celebrates and promotes the arts and artists in Montana, some of the most creative citizenry in the world.
Montana is home to hundreds of art galleries and museums, bookstores and theatres as you'll see in this guide. In addition, our state boasts seven symphony orchestras, several dozen community theatres, thirty performing arts series organizations, several ballet companies, hundreds of cowboy and rock and roll bands, summer festivals and crafts fairs, as well as many renowned writers of fact and fiction.
As you enjoy the Big Sky, we invite you to take the time to seek out the arts on your travels. You'll enjoy everything from cowboy sculpture to world-class modern art and ceramics, as well as performances that could persuade you to spend another night in town, and authors who will ensure your visit is truly a vacation.
